{Side Hustle Series Day 5}:๐๐๐ฅ๏ธ International literacy consulting and online mentoring
Welcome to day 5 of our Side Hustle Series where we uncover the secrets to financial independence. I hope you've enjoyed these emails and blog posts as much as I've enjoyed writing them.
But enough chit-chat; let's talk about my current side hustles. I may no longer be an elementary teacher by day, but I'm still dancing with my side hustles. Fifteen years ago, I wanted to teach part-time; today, I'm a business owner. No matter where you are, there's always room for something on the side that brings you wealth and joy. Bonus points if it's passive, like my condo rental and stock investments - they'll be around for the long haul, leading to financial freedom.
I'm all about Erin Kent Consulting and the Modern Classroom Project. These side hustles allow me to work from home, have a balanced life with my family, travel internationally and have the space and funding for entrepreneurship.

As a consultant with Erin Kent Consulting, I've worked with the Carol Morgan School in the Dominican Republic three times this school year and am currently planning my fourth. Each visit is customized to the needs of the teachers, and it's been incredibly rewarding for everyone involved. I have the autonomy to customize the experience with a fantastic set of resources, both human and digital. This side hustle brings me joy and income, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it. Making a significant impact on our future through literacy is important to me.
